This heartwarming class introduces yoga to young children (and grown-ups), as parents and children team up to bring stories to life in our magical studio. Developmentally-appropriate activities using props, music and art promote speech and language development, listening skills, and motor coordination, along with all of yoga's wonderful health benefits. Puppy Tales

6-8 year olds' increased awareness of how their bodies move allows for a wider range of yoga activities than our younger classes do. Puppy Tales is designed to promote self respect, self confidence and a healthy lifestyle for boys and girls. This class provides students with a more robust approach to yoga, including partner poses, group yoga poses, yoga breath work and meditation. Like all Yoga Tales classes, age-appropriate stories provide fun points of entry to the benefits of yoga, and the class' cooperative elements improve children's social skills.
Lion Tales

45 minutes
Lion Tales introduces a sophisticated level of yoga, in which the students help to guide the class and focus on the aspects of yoga that they enjoy the most. By working together in a safe environment, students gain confidence in peer settings as they work on strengthening muscles, improving balance, and increasing flexibility. This class teaches techniques that kids can learn and perfect in class, then employ on their own, anytime, anywhere.
Cat Tales

Designed for siblings to take together.

This class combines elements from Puppy Tales and Lion Tales to create a class with a fun and loving atmosphere that helps brothers and sisters improve their appreciation of one another.

Tween Zone

This class helps to promote self confidence, self-worth and a positive body image, while providing stress management techniques to ward off teen depression and help kids survive the teen years. Special activities such as journaling, aromatherapy, acupressure, meditation and visualization, are practiced in an environment that is conducive to open and candid discussions about the subjects that matter to tweens and teens. Materials Fee Required.
